Qoola - Pure Heart, Pure Body

After the disastrous sisig experience, we proceeded to Greenbelt to introduce to Marge the joy of Frozen Yogurt. We headed to Qoola where Faye is an avid fan of. Qoola is a Canadian brand of frozen yogurt. Haven’t tried it yet ( coz I always choose Red Mango).

Coffee and tea are my first love affairs. Froyo is my new found love. I was excited to try and explore another world of froyo and Qoola is a wonderful world to love and conquer.

We conquered the world of Qoola for the price of Php 75 per 100 grams. We had Chocolate Macadamia, Green Tea, and original. Like any other relationships, if you don’t put some spice on it, it would be a sad parting of ways. Unlike this one true love, Qoola offers a wide array of toppings. Plus, a new flavor every month, exciting!!! isn’t it?

My love promised to provide me a sensory oasis from increasingly busy lifestyle and an experience second to none.

Dencio's Restaurant at The Piazza

After a couple of hours walking, talking and photoshooting at The Piazza , we started to feel hungry, since we are all craving for Crispy Sisig, we all settled at Dencio's Restaurant. Dencio's is known for their Crispy Sisig. I remember, when I was working near Mall of Asia couple of years ago, I always spend my lunch at Dencio's  Harbor Drive Branch to satisfy my Sisig addiction, they never failed to deliver quality sisig. Hot, crispy, and fresh.

We were a little bit disatisfied with the Sisig served at this branch, it smells moldy, cold, and unpleasantly chewy. Sad to say, it didnt please us all.

Well, we just enjoyed the pinakbet and calamares and decided to go to Qoola in Greenbelt to made our day. But thats another story. I'll keep you'll posted.

Holiday Ham - The Premium-Cut Ham

Although Christmas is celebrated over a long period of time, Noche Buena is held only once this season and it has to be perfect, special, and unforgettable. The Noche Buena's Superstar is the Ham, there's no doubt about it. There is only one that offers the best-tasting ham which not only makes the holiday special but also a cut above the rest. The Holiday Ham can make the holidays exactly just that. It’s the premium choice for  me and my family who want only the best. With three qualities of the ham below, it makes the holiday simply special.

First, the Holiday Ham is made from one whole boneless meat from the hind leg which is the best cut of pork for hams. Hind leg ham is tastier and meatier compared to the more common shaped hams. Shaped hams are already processed and although brands would use meat from the other parts of the pork, nothing can beat the goodness found only on the hind leg of pork.

Second, the Holiday Ham is a high-quality smoked ham. The net marks attests to that. Only whole-meat hams can be smoked in ham nets because if it isn’t, pieces would fall off.

Lastly, Holiday Ham has no extenders. The appearance, taste and texture tell the truth. The ham is meat, juicy, and flavorful, and you'll really get the best value for your money.

Would you like to win an iPad this Holiday? or Would you like to learn superb Holiday Ham Recipe from Chef Rob? I'll tell you how on my next post. Keep followin'!

CuisineKnow - À la Carte

A French language loan phrase meaning "according to the menu", and used in restaurant terminology as: Meal chosen from a list of foods and dishes available rather than from a set menu or meal or to designate an option to choose, at no extra charge, a side dish to accompany a main course item.

From a set menu, with a slice of cake and drinks, my officemate and I chose to order a la carte at Red Ribbon to brighten up our day. I had Salisbury Steak, I think it tastes like burger steak in Jollibee the only difference is the extra mashed potato and side dish. Plus its not placed in a styro. With the price of Php 88.00 I think its fair enough.

Jelaine chose Pancit Palabok. She said it tastes like Palabok in Jollibee too. It was just put in a plate. Well, Red Ribbon and Jollibee is under one company what would you expect?

Juicy Milky Trixy

Once in a while, I got a supply of imported juice and milk from Trixie. Silent gratitude isn't much use to anyone. Gratitude is the best attitude, so I am sharing this to the blogosphere to say how grateful I am everytime I received a supply of this imported (not smuggled) juices.
When you choose to drink  Citrus Valley Juice you can be sure that you are going to feel an exceptional tasting juice.

Caesar Apple Juice. No sugar added. No preservatives. No artificial flavors. Fruit content 100%. No artificial colors added.

100% Orange Juice. Offer you an extremely refreshing flavor with the extra benefit of : No sugar or preservative added, An excellent source of Vitamin C.

FarmRich fresh milk is sterilized by the UHT. (Ultra High Temperature) process and filled asseptically by the Tetra Pack System. This process results in a specially packed product which retains its unique milky flavor and does not require refrigeration until opened.

I feel a very unusual sensation - if it is not indigestion, I think it must be gratitude. So Trixie, I would maintain that thanks are the highest form of thought; and that gratitude is happiness doubled by wonder. ~G.K. Chesterton

Anney's Yummy S'mores

I love spending  weekends at Anney's residence. Everytime I visit Peachy and Anney never fail to full my stomach with anything. Today, Anney prepared S'mores. A s'more is a traditional nighttime campfire treat popular in the United States and Canada, consisting of a roasted marshmallow and a layer of chocolate sandwiched between two pieces of graham cracker.

Peachy prepared Shirley Temple to partner the S'mores.  A Shirley Temple (also known as a Grenadine Lemonade) is a non-alcoholic mixed drink originally made with two parts ginger ale, one part orange juice, and a small quantity of grenadine. Nowadays, the drink is usually made with either seltzer or lemon-lime soda (7up or Sprite) , and mixed with grenadine syrup garnished with maraschino cherries and a slice of orange.

Coffee, Tea and Me - Good Times

Hanging out with Nathan and Jen at Starbucks in Bonifacio High Street, The Fort after a very long week days and loads of work is beyond comparison. Letting the time flies. Bring laughter  while talking about humiliating and embarrassing experiences at work. Letting the bad times blend with our delightful coffee and snacks.

Jen had Java Chip and Cinnamon Swirl, Nathan ordered Choco Glazed Doughnut and Mocha Frap and I had my utmost favorite Green Tea with Strawberry Syrup and Chicken Empanada.

Come to think of it, do you need money to have a good time? No, I dont. I realized, I dont need money to have a good time but a circle of  equally crazy friends while having a cup of coffee. Tell me,  what is your idea of a good time?
